Switch between teaching and learning
One memore account can teach some people and learn from others. Here is how to switch sides, and what changes when you do.
memore is symmetric: the same account can run a studio and attend someone else's classes. Which side you see first is just a setting.
Switch your active side
- Open Settings.
- In the profile section, choose Switch to teaching (or Switch to learning).
- The app reloads with the other side's navigation and Home screen.
Switching moves no data. Your relationships, lessons, materials and money records all stay exactly where they were — the switch only changes which of them the app leads with.
When you were invited as a student
Anyone who joins through a tutor's invitation link starts on the learning side, because that is the side the link fills. If you actually teach, switch sides in Settings; if your new teaching account has no subjects yet, memore walks you through the same short studio setup a brand-new teacher gets.
Studying on your own
A learner can also track a class that has no memore tutor behind it — a university course, or a tutor who does not use the app. Add it as your own subject and schedule its timetable; it appears in your calendar and holds notes and homework like any other class, with nobody billed.
