Cookie Policy

Last updated: 16 August 2026

This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on Memore.tech, operated by Shoon's LLC. It forms part of our Privacy Policy.

Analytics are off until you turn them on. We set no analytics or measurement cookie before you agree, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page.

1What these technologies are

A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. We also use local storage and session storage, which work similarly but are read only by the page that set them. In this policy "cookie" covers all of these.

2Categories we use

Strictly necessary — always on

These are required to deliver the service you asked for, so they do not require consent under ePrivacy rules. Without them you cannot sign in and the product does not work.

memore_tokenLocal storageKeeps you signed in (access token).Until sign-out; token valid up to 7 days
memore_localeLocal storageRemembers your chosen language.Until cleared
memore_consentLocal storageRecords your cookie choice, when you made it, and against which version of this policy. Needed to honour and evidence your choice.Until cleared or the categories change
memore_profileSession storageCaches your display name so the header does not flash a placeholder.Until the tab closes

Analytics — only with your consent

These help us see which features are used and where the product fails. They are not set unless you agree, and turning them off removes those already set.

Not used

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, retargeting pixels, social-media trackers, session replay, or heatmaps, and we do not sell personal data.

3Third-party content

Some pages embed a video player (YouTube or Vimeo) where a tutor has added one, and connected services such as Google Calendar are reached through their own domains. Those providers may set their own cookies under their own policies once you interact with them. We never frame a player from a raw address you supply — the source is rebuilt from a parsed video identifier.

4Managing your choice

Use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page to review or change your decision. Withdrawing is as easy as giving: one switch, in the same place. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser settings; clearing the strictly necessary entries will sign you out.

Your choice is stored per browser and per device, so you will be asked again on a new device.

5Changes

If we add a category or a provider that requires consent, we will ask you again rather than rely on a previous answer. The "Last updated" date above changes whenever this policy does.
