Build materials your students revisit
Design a useful library without turning it into an archive — three principles for teaching materials that get reused.

Every teacher accumulates materials. Few accumulate a library — the difference is whether last year's work makes this year's easier, or just makes the folder longer. Three principles separate the two.
Make the mistake the unit, not the worksheet
A worksheet is finished the day it is used; a recorded mistake keeps working. When a student's wrong answers are tracked individually — this word, this rule, this kind of error — revision builds itself: the things they actually got wrong come back on a schedule, spaced further apart as they improve.
That inverts the usual economics. You stop writing "revision sheets" from memory of what went wrong, because the record of what went wrong is the revision sheet.
Adapt instead of rewriting
The article that suits your C1 student is one level away from suiting your B1 student. Treat difficulty as a dial, not a property: keep one strong source text, and derive the level a given learner needs from it. The same goes for format — the reading that worked as homework becomes a test by asking different questions of it, not by starting over.
A library organised this way stays small and dense: fewer, better sources, each with many uses.
Let the lesson leave a trace
The most valuable material is the one generated by teaching itself: the vocabulary that came up mid-class, the sentence a student mangled interestingly, the explanation you improvised that landed. If capturing those takes effort, it will not happen; the trick is banking them in the moment — a word into the shared glossary, a note into the class record — and letting the system file them.
A student flipping through their own accumulated words, mistakes and notes is revisiting your teaching. That is what a library is for: not storage, but return visits.
